Terms of Service

Welcome to Big Bee.

We build and operate software that helps businesses run online stores — from managing products and orders to running social commerce and branded shopping apps. These are the terms that apply when you use our services.

By using Big Bee, you agree to these terms.

1. Who We Are

Big Bee Co., Ltd. is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company based in Myanmar.

We provide tools that let you create white-labeled e-commerce apps, websites, social commerce systems, and inventory management platforms.

2. Using Our Services

To use Big Bee, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Create an account with a valid email or phone number and password
  • Provide accurate information during signup
  • Use our services only for legal business purposes

Your account may be linked to a business organization, which can have multiple users with different roles — such as admin, manager, or operator.

You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it.

3. Free Trial and Subscriptions

We offer a 14-day free trial for new users. After that, continued use requires a paid subscription.

We currently accept offline payments, such as bank transfers.

Your subscription begins once payment is confirmed.

We may introduce additional payment methods or one-time paid features in the future, but we'll always inform you before any charges occur.

4. Payments, Renewals, and Cancellations

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.
  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or by contacting support.
  • When you cancel, we keep your data for 6 months. During that period, you can export or request copies.
  • After 6 months, your data may be permanently deleted.
  • You can reactivate your account within that 6-month period.

All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

5. Changes to Service and Pricing

We may occasionally update prices, add new plans, or discontinue parts of the service.

When that happens:

  • Price changes will be announced at least 3 months in advance
  • Service discontinuations will be announced at least 1 year in advance

We may also make smaller updates or improvements without notice if they don't reduce essential functionality.

6. Data Privacy and Security

We take data protection seriously.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information.

We never sell user data.

Our support team can access your data only upon your explicit request for troubleshooting or assistance.

We may use aggregated and anonymized information — not linked to any individual — to improve our services and understand usage trends.

7. Intellectual Property

You own the content and data you upload to Big Bee.

Big Bee owns and retains all rights to:

  • The Big Bee software, systems, and source code
  • Branding, templates, and documentation
  • Platform-generated insights and analytics

By using our service, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your data solely for operating and improving Big Bee.

8. Fair Use and Restrictions

We trust our customers to use Big Bee responsibly.

You may not use Big Bee for:

  • Fraud, gambling, or illegal activities
  • Spamming, harassment, or abuse
  • Reverse engineering or unauthorized access to our systems

If we detect abuse, non-payment, or illegal use, we may suspend or terminate your account.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You fail to pay your subscription fees
  • You violate these terms
  • Your account is used for illegal or harmful purposes

We'll notify you unless urgent action is needed to prevent harm.

After termination, we'll retain your data for 6 months, allowing export or reactivation.

10. Service Availability

We work hard to keep Big Bee reliable and secure, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access.

Maintenance, upgrades, or network issues may occasionally affect availability.

We're not responsible for damages caused by downtime, data loss, or issues beyond our control.

11. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Big Bee's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
  • We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.
  • Our services are provided "as is", without any express or implied warranties.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through email or your Big Bee dashboard before they take effect.

Continuing to use the service after updates means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

If any dispute arises:

  1. We'll first attempt to resolve it informally through discussion.
  2. If unresolved, it will proceed to arbitration under applicable Myanmar laws.
  3. If necessary, legal proceedings will take place in the courts of Yangon, Myanmar.

14. Communication and Notices

We send important notices (billing, policy updates, security alerts) by email or within your Big Bee dashboard.

15. Miscellaneous

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.

Failure to enforce any part doesn't waive our rights.

You may not transfer your account without our consent.

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (force majeure).
